| On March 5, 2017, I posted photos of a new pair of Tecovas cowboy boots that I bought in late February. These are all-leather boots, made in Leon, Mexico, by an unknown bootmaker whose slack was taken up by an entrepreneur based in Austin, Texas. These boots were inexpensive and are well-made with pegged soles and quality craftsmanship. They look great especially with dark blue denim jeans. Comfortable right out of the box. Only odd thing is -- no sound. They are completely silent when I walk in them. They're also damn hard to take off. (See my blog post).
