I bought these Boots in San Diego, California, USA in 2006. They are made by Villano Boots of Leon, Mexico. The boots are all black with fancy stitching on the shafts. their understated style is great for wearing with dress clothes, but they also go great denim or leather jeans. The boots are 13" high, and have a 1-5/8" cowboy walking heel and an X-toe (extra pointed). The soles are made of leather. Mexican Boots only come in "E" width, so these are one-half size smaller than my usual 10D. the pegged heels make a great cowboy boot "clunk" on wooden floors.
