These boots are made by Cowtown. They have back-cut Caiman alligator print design on the foot and in an inlay on the front of the Boot shaft. I got them through Nashville Boots when I wanted to get a pair like my Lucchese Cognac Belly-Cut Caiman Alligator Boots but didn't want to pay as much as Sheplers was charging for them in 2004. These boots aren't built as well and aren't all that comfortable to wear. The arch is bad and makes my feet hurt if I wear them for more than a few hours. Plus, the inside stitching of the seams of the boot shaft is bad, and has rubbed the inside of my leg, causing sores. I've had to put tape over the seams to prevent that. So, the old addage applies, you get what you pay for.
The boots are standard cowboy boots with a 13" high, 1-5/8" walking heel, leather sole. Odd shaped wider foot doesn't have the traditional more narrow cowboy boot style. I hate to say it, but I really don't recommend boots by Cowtown. They are not well made or designed.
