These are Lucchese "Landon" hornback caiman tail boots with calf leather shafts at the traditional 13-inch height. These boots have a narrow square toe, and a 1-5/8 inch cowboy walking heel. Unfortunately, compared with their cognac brothers, the soles of these boots are not pegged, reflecting a cheap shortcut in construction.

The style number is M2692. The color according to Lucchese is "barrell brown." I bought these boots on sale in December, 2015, for half the MSRP. The boots are made in Mexico.
