These boots are made under the Rujo Boots label, which is a private label brand made in León, Mexico, the Bootmaking capital of the world.
These boots are the "Tate" model and are dyed tan that is peanut in color. The boots are made with goatskin leather for the whole boot and are of traditional 12-inch height. The western heel height is also traditional at 1.7 inches. Pull-tabs are on the sides of the boot for ease of pulling on. Traditional scalloped shafts and decorative stitching complete this good-looking boot. The pegged sole is all leather, and very durable.
The boots run true-to-size and are comfortable on first wear. Being a man's traditional boot, they go well with cowboy denim. The craftsmanship of production is great.
This is what the full boot looks like, but is not how I wear them:
This is how I wear these boots -- jeans over them:
Nine-iron solid leather pegged soles are a sign of quality bootmaking:
These boots look great with suit slacks:
Cowboy up!
These goatskin boots are more casual and jeans-friendly.
But since I enjoy wearing business suits, I thought I would see how these boots looked with my Brooks Brothers navy suit.
I think these boots look great with a dark suit, almost-matching necktie, and my white Stetson hat:
