Madison Fit Wool Two-Button 1818 Suit
Worn with black or oxblood dress shoes or cowboy boots
I bought this Brooks Brothers blue sharkskin suit in June, 2022, and had it properly altered to fit me with adjustments to the jacket sleeve length and trousers tapering and hemming.
I wear this sharp-looking suit around the house and when I attend events or meetings when a suit would appropriate, or just if I want to.
This is the classic Brooks Brothers 1818 model and was made in Italy. The fully-lined jacket has side vents. Flat-front trousers without pleats or cuffs are my preference. Sharkskin has a shiny appearance and is among the most formal of business suits.
Being so well-fitted, I wear this suit with various dress shoes in my vast collection. This suit pairs well with any color of shoes. The photos below are of me wearing this suit with oxblood and black dress shoes, and also with cowboy boots.
Photos of me in this suit with brown dress shoes have been moved here. I separated the photos about this suit because a blue suit goes particularly well with shoes in shades of brown.
This suit looks really sharp with a good pair of cowboy boots:
This suit's trousers were tapered and hemmed to proper length. My dress shoes look great with this suit:
