These shoes are built in an elongated classic cap-toe oxford, six-eyelet balmoral design. They have a 360-degree speed welt and a cushion insole. They also feature a quarter heel tap and an awfully slippery rubber pod (provides no traction) with a lightweight heel and are built on the Allen Edmonds 64 last. They are handcrafted in Port Washington, WI, with premium European leather upper and lining. I like these shoes for how shiny they are, but hate the slippery soles.
Note: First time I wore these shoes and walked about a half-mile, a bad blister developed on two toes.
Thicker socks and moleskin on the toes would have prevented blisters from forming.
Bought these shoes before I owned a good suit. These shoes look great with a Brooks Brothers Blue Sharkskin Suit:
