Rev'IT Tornado Jacket

This motorcycle jacket is my first foray into high-tech, high-viz (high visibility) motorcycle riding gear. The jacket is made by Rev'IT, a company headquartered in The Netherlands.

This jacket is designed to provide safety and comfort during the heat of summer as well as during the cooler shoulder seasons of Spring and Autumn.

This jacket combines durable open mesh panels that flow air through it. It comes with CE-approved armor in the shoulders and elbows. It also has a removable 2-layer inner jacket that zips and snaps in to provide both waterproofing and insulation. It is wearable separately too.

This jacket is flexible, lightweight, and in such a reflectively bright yellow color, it is highly visible from great distances. This jacket saved my hide in a crash on May 31, 2016. I had no (zero) abrasions in a crash at highway speed.
