Boots of 2022

Ranch Road Honcho Harness boot in brown. These boots are a classic harness style made under the Ranch Road Boots label. Bought them on a Cyber Monday sale in November, 2022. These boots feature full Goodyear-welt construction and full-grain Spanish leather with high-density rubber soles. They have Spanish full-grain leather exterior, a steel shank for arch support, cork-filled footbed forms to foot with wear, and solid brass hardware. Finished with a stacked leather heel with shock-absorbing rubber heel cap. Handmade in Spain. Shaft Height: 9-1/4", Shaft Circumference: 14 1/2", Heel Height: 1 1/2". 

Tecovas Jason Caramel boots: Size 11D, caramel (cognac) color, 12 inches tall, features a flat (non-lug) Vibram rubber sole, weatherproofed seams, and is wrapped in water-resistant bovine from top to toe. Beyond that, it is a classic Tecovas dress boot with a 1.5-inch stacked leather heel, 3/4 Goodyear welt construction, and a cork footbed. I bought these boots when I visited a Tecovas store for the first time in 2022.

Rujo Boots Caiman "Blake" Rujo Boots makes much better boots than Tecovas. These boots are size 11.0D, 100% genuine caiman. Black "midnight" color. The cushion insole is exceptionally comfortable. 1.7" heel, round toe. Leather sole. Goodyear welted. Lemonwood pegged sole. Calfskin lining. These boots go very well with any suit in my wardrobe for a change over dress shoes.

Rujo Boots Caiman "Kirby" Rujo Boots makes much better boots than Tecovas. These boots are size 11.0D, 100% genuine caiman. Dark brown "chocolate" color. The cushion insole is exceptionally comfortable. 1.7" heel. #7 snip toe. Leather sole. Goodyear welted. Lemonwood pegs. Calfskin lining. Go very well with my blue suit for a change over dress shoes.

Timberland Jaquard red hikers These boots are lightweight and are constructed with breathable textile uppers and "Sensorflex" anti-fatigue technology. They are indeed very comfortable. These boots are 6 inches high and have a cushioned ankle collar for comfort. The boots are not waterproof. They have waffle soles that do not get caked up with mud. The boots lace up (including 2 speed lace hooks toward the top). These boots are cheaply made and are only good for walking.

Southwest Boot Co. Structural Firefighter/Station boots: Size 11D, black, steel toe. and made in the USA. These boots are made of 5-5-1/2 oz high shine corrected grain leather. The boot has a padded cushion collar and cushioned ankle pads for support and comfort. The tongue area is cushioned with 1/4" poly-foam for extra comfort. The boot interior is lined with double-ply Cambrelle.

The boot is Goodyear welted and has a full storm welt for water resistance. The boot has a triple-ribbed steel shank and extra-strength heel counters. The sole is a Vibram 100F non-marking oil-resistant lug sole. The central boot zipper is made from non-corrosive metal. These are damn fine boots that match the discontinued Chippewa Firefighter boot.

Chippewa "Thunderstruck" logger boots: Size 11D, tan color, 10-Inch waterproof Nano composite toe lace-up logger boots. Waterproof due to Chip-a-Tex Waterproof Bootie construction method and a heavy-duty oiled leather upper that is treated to shed water. ASTM rated for electrical hazards. Rubber midsole, BONTEX insole. "IQ" Vibram rubber outsole. Goodyear PVC Storm Welt construction. A taller logger boot that I can wear and I had my eye on for a long time.

Tecovas Bandera "Umber" boots: Size 11D, Umber (dark brown) color, oil- and slip-resistant Vibram outsoles. 3/4 Goodyear welt construction. Oiled leather and weatherproof seams for hose-them-off durability. Removable shock-absorbing polyurethane insoles with leather lining. 1-1/2" angled, stacked leather heel with 9mm rubber cap. Reinforced pull straps. 12" shaft with hand-laid cording. Signature Tecovas toe stitching. "Ranch Wear" collection. Most durable work cowboy boots I've ever had. Bought them before a price increase of 11 July.

Fenoglio "Double Shot" boots: Size 11D red and black premium full grain leather rough-out and contrasting gray calfskin shaft with silver stitch embroidered 13" top. Featuring easy pull straps, contrast piping, lemonwood with brass peg foundation, leather stack outsole, leather riding heel with spur rest and cutter toe. Specially designed with a Cowboy Comfort rubber sole. Made in Texas by the Fenoglio Boot Company.

Fenoglio Catalina boots: Size 11D vintage Catalina featuring a rich full-grain copper vamp with a 14-1/2 inch red calfskin shaft with cream embroidery and copper full-grain inlay top. Featuring easy pull straps and pull holes, red shaft piping, lemonwood with brass peg foundation, leather stack outsole, leather riding heel with spur rest and cutter toe. Made in Texas by the Fenoglio Boot Company.

JB Dillon "Marston" Ostrich Leg Size 10.5D ostrich leg cowboy boots, "sunset crimsom" (black cherry) color. Boot heel height: 1.5 inches. Boot shaft height: 13 inches. Got them on a promotion related to a recommendation. These are really dressy boots that go very well with dress suits.
