Boots Wiki
What's a wiki? And a “Boots Wiki” at that?
A wiki is is a website that allows the creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser. A wiki is essentially a database for creating, browsing, and searching through information. A defining characteristic of wiki technology is the ease with which pages can be created and updated. A single page in this “wiki” website is referred to as a “wiki page,” while the entire collection of pages, which are interconnected by hyperlinks, is “the wiki.”
This wiki is powered by wiki software called DokuWiki. It is meant to provide for collaborative information sharing. This wiki exists to serve a specific purpose, which is to share information about boots.
I created this wiki for two primary reasons: to enable interactive sharing of information, as well as to migrate to an interactive and collaborative web-based capability.
