These are Belleville 650 ST U.S. Air Force Uniform Approved tactical boots. I finally decided to get a modern pair of tactical/combat boots to wear when I do field work (for my job, which requires walking on sandy and rough terrain.)
Typical of military boots, the specs are specific: Vanguard® Running Shoe Sole Construction; Upper Material – Sage Green Leather / Nylon Fabric; Steel Toe – Meets ASTM F2412-05 and F2413-05 Standards; GORE-TEX® Fabric Bootie; Cushion Midsole -- Polyurethane; Outsole -- Rubber, VIBRAM® Sierra; Polyurethane Removable Insert; Height -- 8” (Standard Military Height).
These boots are very comfortable and look especially good with tan or camo BDUs. What I particularly like about these boots is that once you lace them up, you don't have to lace them again. Zippers on the side make them easy to put on and remove.
These boots were great to wear when I rode a rental Harley to explore the National Parks of Southern Utah in July, 2017. They provided excellent traction while riding, and comfort while walking. The abient temperatures exceeded 100F in some places. These boots remained cool and comfortable.
